The exponential growth of the use of plastic is threatening the survival of our planet.
Plastic pollution afflicting our Earth has been one of the most topical and debated issue in the last years, including poisoning of sea life, damage to human hormones, dirt on our beaches and landscapes, huge waste flows and overfull landfills.
And let’s not forget garbage patches, huge waste conglomerates invading our Oceans, and microplastics ending up even on our dinner table.

One of the themes in this World Earth Day 2019 is End plastic pollution and today more than ever we want to contribute in spreading this urgent request from our planet.
“We need to change our habits and behaviours in using plastic to promote a significant reduction in plastic pollution”, urged the Earth Day international network that has been responsible for organizing the World Earth Day since 1970. We do our share: our business is sustainable.
The concept itself of “tapping” instead of bottling is ecologic per se.

For over 40 years, we have been proposing sustainable solutions of beverages dispensing, and even the choice of the technology supporting our products is green-oriented: for example, our refrigerators will soon be using the refrigerant gas R290, totally ecologic. We believe that tapping is not only the way to improve human and professional qualities of the industry workers, but mainly the choice of those who want to counter environmental decline.

If draught beer consumption went from 5% to 6% only, in 1 year we would have saved trees equivalent to the size of a soccer field, 1.5 tons of waste and 80 olympic swimming pools of water. Also, 2 steel kegs of beer produce 27 kg of CO2 less compared to the same litres in bottles. Likewise, we believe that water consumption must be responsible, because water is life and one of the most precious assets given to us by the Earth, and we have the duty to protect it for the future generations.

The impact of dispensed water is 300 times lower than bottled water, and this means sparing to the environment (and our health) tons of plastic to be disposed of and hundreds of Kgs of CO2 which would be emitted neither by vehicles distributing the cumbersome pallets of bottled water, nor the manufacturers of plastic materials containing water.

This is our commitment, and that of millions of people who every day choose to adopt behaviours to safeguard our planet.

And you, what are you doing?
